Default 5 speed to 6 speed manual transmission swap

I Have a 99 dodge 3500 dually/ cummins engine and 5 speed manual transmission. Truck has 230,000 miles. I am planning to pull transmission because of leaks and loss of fifth gear again. Truck is used for towing alot so I was thinking a 6 speed manual would be nice if it would fit. Has anyone done this? How much work is required?

the nv4500 fith gear problem is a very easy fix...

but if you want to do the swap, you will need the trans, bell housing, flywheel and clutch assembly, and a starter spacer, if it is a 4x4 there may or may not be a compatibility issue with the t-case, but everyone knows how that goes...
