Question Runs rough and shuts down

I replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump, but the truck continues to run rough when I start it and then shuts down. My next step is to check the codes, but I don't know how to do this. Please make a suggestion.

Did you replace the lift pump or the injection pump? I'm guessing you did the lift pump. I hate to tell you the bad news, but your injection pump is going to have to be replaced as well. When the lift pump goes, it can take the injection pump out in as little as a few miles.

which the dodge is famous for. the injector pumps goes out, i believe it was a recall no? my dad has an 02 with the 24v. and his went out just recently. they replaced lift and injector pumps. like brian said. sorry for the bad news. idk much about the 24v but my 12v needed the idle adjusted. it used to run rough and shut down untill i changed the idle and unplugged my boost bypass. lol
