Default Fuel delivery issues

My 2006 CTD is throwing a P0148 Fuel Delivery Failure code. I called the Dodge house and they told me maybe a fuel rail or fuel rail sensor. I dont wanna spend 400 - 800 bucks on a maybe. I have searched it and found that it could be the fuel control actuator. Any ideas?

change the FCA, its very easy, two screws, and a wire plug, actually you may just want to plug and unplug the FCA wiring plug a couple times and see if that cures it
