cummins swap prob's
the vacuum doesnt have anything to do with it, and the filter and the bleeder are on the pressure of the lift pump, so thats not the issue, trace the lines from the lift pump to the tank and see what you fine, also when was the last fuel filter change? also a failed lift pump can cause this issue too
sorry i didint say eairlier but the lift pump is new (per last owner) and fuel filter was just changed when we were getting the air out of the lines, so a failed lift pump can cause the issue of air in the lines? lift pump looks brand new...suppose ill look up a way to test it...u prolly need a fuel pressure tester tho right?
a bad pump will let air in the system, but so will a cracked fuel line, even tho none of them may have a visable external leak, one thing i have learned, is to never trust any part, weather it is new or not, a fuel press gauge after the filter is a good start as well as a clear piece of fuel line tied in there too
sorry i havnt posted with the solution lol, it ended up that the P.O used the old fuel lines, and tank...so the fuel line was routed through the stock gas fuel filter on top of te tank with a wimpy 1/4" or less diamiter, i guess the fuel filter would fill up while we were bleading the lines, then would run off that for a lil while..., we just drilled another hole and routed a new fuel line to the hard line...good to go until we go junkyarding for a diesel setup...thanks for your help
