hello friends I'm from Brazil, I have a dodge ram 1500 4x4 diesel, and I intend to modify the engine, move her to the diesel, it would be possible?

which recommended the diesel engine ...

ummm is it deisel now? they didnt come in 1500's....

but its to much work to swap to deisel....just buy a diesel.....if not look at about $5-6K worth of parts you'll need

ok. but the adaptation: it is easy?

6cc of a motor mwm f250 serve in it?
Can I continue using the automatic exchange or need to put the mechanic

pretty much you will need a parts vehicle. so that you can remove the engine, transmission, transfer case, axles, drive shafts, gas tank, computer, etc... everything.

and no the stock auto trans will not hold up to the power of a diesel, barely holds up to the gasoline engines

Can I use an exchange mechanism and put a cummins 6 cylinder engine, just replace the motor housing, I think it is not that hard.

Here in Brazil I'm using the fuel gas gnt, the car loses a little power but is more economical, the heads are proplema this with my truck 180,000 miles and the price of gasoline worth

your best bet would be to get a wrecked cummins of a similar year but your trans will have to be changed, unless you have an nv4500 5 speed, but even still, its weaker than the diesel trans, puttinf the ford engine in would be a disaster, but anything can be done
