New Cummins....to me
Well i finally did it,after 3 years of looking and wishing i finally found a 07 with a 5.9 in it.Real super clean truck for Upstate NY,couldnt be happier.I had the dealer put it on a lift and went through it and couldnt find anything wrong.Never had a 5th wheel and the reciever looks like new so i dont think it ever pulled anything.Went out and drove it for about a hour to get everything warmed up.put it back on the lift to look for leaks and everything is great. It has 70k miles on it but hopefully the previous owner did good services .Its a gamble but oh well.Bonus when i got under it to find a Banks monster exhaust.Been driving it all day and everything seems tights and she runs awesome.Hopefully it will for years to come.
Ive been a Dodge owner for some time, traded in my 06 Hemi 1500.It was a great truck and hopeing this will be too. Ill try to get some pics up soon.

Thanks for the tip.I know they did the oil wehn i got it today but i plan on getting some Rotella this weekend and putting in it cause im sure they dont buy the best there is at the dealer. As soon as we get a fairly warm day i plan on doinf the rears and transfer case.As for the tranny i might let the dealer tackle that one,if i had access to a lift i would do it.
Why im here,as i mentioned above i live in Upstate NY,so its cold, what should i be adding to the fuel and can/should i put a splash of Marvel Mystery Oil in the fuel.I have read people doing it and i used to do it all the time to older diesels, just need to know if its safe in the new stuff and is it needed.
Thanks for any replys
