2007 6.7L Tranny limp mode but no codes?
Lately my 2007 6.7L Ram often bucks hard, then struggles to gain any power and won't go more than 30-40mph tops. Engine RPM's seem normal so my thought is that tranny is going into limp mode. If I let up on the pedal and accellerate very very slowly it will gain speed as expected until I'm at normal highway speeds. Attempting to accellerate at anything other than very slowly it starts bucking and I loose power but again, RPM's are up so engine is not stalling.
There is no CEL. I reported the problem to the dealer who found no codes and could not duplicate the issue. It has done this several times the past month, other days everything is fine and truck drives perfect. Any ideas?

Out of nowhere. Has done it when cold or just driving normal on streets or highway. Seems to be occuring more often lately.
it sounds more like a fuel issue, but odd that there are no codes, it could also possably have something to do with the VGT or the exhaust system i suppose... it's not going into regen mode while its doing this, is it?
I thought about it being fuel and checked the filter for water and none. Have been through 3 tanks from different stations with no improvement.
I just realized this started the day after I had the J35 recall update done. Just a coincidence?
