Default lower hose block heater

I have a 2nd gen. and am going w/ alower rad. heater rather than replacing the freeze plug heater. Anybody have any data about warm up time (30-40degrees out)? Any other comments bout these heaters.

dont know about warm up time, but make sure its not going to cause a restriction and overheat issues, why not go with the original setup, its a proven set up and probably eaiser to install and work with?
