Default Could someone please help me out?

Good day to all
This is my first time posting on this forum and I need some serious help. I recently bought a 07 Dodge 2500 6.7L with 100K Km on it (I'm in Canada), and I felt like it was the best truck ever. Now three months later I'm not so sure. Can someone explain to me where to find the EGR Cooler and the EGR valve as well as the CCV filter Element? Is changing/cleaning these something that one can do himself or should I take it to a shop? My level of technical inclination includes changing ball joints replacing thermostats replacing shocks etc. Also I have read in other posts that Diesel Cummins owners are experiencing some leaks and drips from their trucks. I know my tranny is dripping along with the oil pan seal and the transfer case. I had it in for warranty repair twice and the leaks got reduced to drips but are still there. Any suggestions on this?

Thank you all for your help

Silesian

The EGR is a nightmare on diesel trucks, but if you have to keep it, get used to it. These trucks need to get driven hard every now and then or you run into big problems with the EGR/DPF and whatnot.

The EGR is the enormous pile of crap that wraps around the valve cover connecting the exhaust with the intake.

I found this while searching for the CCV:

I went in to the local dealer to pick up a CCV filter as I'm about to hit 60k and I'm doing my service when I've got free time at work.

The parts counter didn't know what a CCV filter was.
Then he couldn't find it in the computer.
Then he said they would have to order it since they don't keep it in stock.

Wait, what? It's a scheduled service item and they don't stock it?
Nope, they've never sold one.

Wow.
