Default 2007 3500 pulling to the right

I've just bought this 2007 3500 that has 73,000 miles on it. It runs good (cummings diesel) 4 X 4, Mega-cab. Part of the deal is that the dealer fixes the truck pulling to the right when I drove it. I traded in an 07 1500 Ram with 13,000 miles to get this truck. The 1500 was lifted and had mud tires on it and never pulled to the right or left. I bought the Ram 1500 new. The Dealer aligned it and gave it back to me and wrote that the truck may pull to the right due to the crown in the road. I know this is B.S., but I curious if anyone else has had this problem and if so, what was the fix. I can't pull my trailer with this truck pulling to the right and constantly having to correct it, much less drive it everyday with this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Mike. I learned that when I bought the truck it had new tires on it. The tires are a brand I have never heard of and are cheap quality. The technician working on my truck tried to compensate for the poor quality tires by changing the alignment and rotating the tires. This works marginally and I'm starting to save for some good all terrain or mud terrain tires. Hopefully, I can use mud terrain tires on my dually.

hello again,i just thought about it again, being they are new tires ,you need to give them time to wear in to the road........like when you get brake drums turned to match the brakes, that used to happen when they put new tires on the peterbilt i drove,or if they swaped the rims to either side,of the steering axle........mike.

Hi Mike. I'm not sure how long these tires have been on the truck, but look new. I'll drive it around for a while to see if the tires wear in. I've never encountered tires that needed to wear in. This is my third dually, but only the first Dodge. Both others were Chevys (I know I shouldn't have mentioned that word on this forum, but at least I changed brands) lol. These tires are called Pegasus Advanta SUV. ?????????????????????? I've never heard of this brand.

hey, well i guess you will have to ride it out, till you get some new tires.true i havent heard of that brand either, sounds pretty strange to me,sounds more like a car name or something out of a hercules movie.......thats cool you third dually, this is my first dodge, when i bought they had that life time warrenty,so i put a life time all electric on top of that.so it is fully covered.and before i pass on to a better place ,to put it in my sons name and it will roll over to him.i heard they only did that in 2008......guess i got lucky.....yea,catch you later bro.mike..

Yeah, I'm saving my money until I can get some mud terrain tires ( if that will work on a dually). I pull my toyhauler out in the desert and mountains and need some grip. The 1500 Dodge I bought new that I traded in on this dually only had 13,000 miles and was a 2007 and it had the lifetime warranty. I'm going to miss that, but I bought a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty with this truck and hope to have its issues worked out before that expires. LOL. Now all I have to figure out is, should the oil look like chocolate or should it look like normal oil, kind of a golden color. Anyway, I wish I had bought the 3500 in the first place, but at the time I didn't have a toyhauler and had no reason to have such a large truck. Take care and don't get rid of that truck with the fantastic warranty.

I have an 06 2500 that had that same problem for some time. I took it to the dealer and they upgraded the whole centerlink assemby right down to the steering stabilizer because the original design was too week and had a tendancy to wear out around 60,000 miles.

i just bought a 2005, 2500, 2 wheel drive with 41K and it pulled to the right. also drove a 06 2 wheel drive 3500 and it pulled to the right.

Dealer fixed my 2005 before we signed the deal. installed new michelins and gave it an alignment

drives fine now.
