Default Question from a noob

Hello all im looking at getting my 1st cummins and need some advise. I dont know much at all about dodges. Im looking at a 2000 3500 4x4 quad cab with the 24v and auto, it has 200k on the odometer and sems to run fine and looks good. Its a laramie SLT with the leather seats and woodgrain trim dash. How hard and expensive is it to replace the leather on the front seats as they show alot of wear and also the dash is busted in 2 spots on both sides (a common problem im told)? I can get this truck for around $6500 but I have learned at least from fixing small interior things on my 94 ford PSD that it can get very spendy. Should I run away from this truck?

for the seats, i would just go with some covers from iggee, ther are a bit pricey but they are custom fit, look great, and durable, i have them in both of my 2500's, for the dash, there are replacement covers which arnt bad on price, get a code reader and check for codes to make sure there are no death codes for the injection pump, and if you get it, be 100% sure you put a fuel pressure gauge in it

Thanks for the reply, I did end up purchasing the truck today. No codes came up for the fuel pump when I had it scanned but it has another weird problem, it doesnt want to go into overdrive. Is this a possible sensor or electrical problem? I know the trans was out of the truck 2 weeks ago to address this problem and it wasnt fixed obviously.
