Default v10 to 12v

So i finally found the truck that i want its a 97 2500 4x4 man but it has the v10 and i want the 12v. Im gettin a good deal on it so buying a new motor and building it up will be no problem. I was wondering about the wireing how hard would that be and wat other things will i have to change. Thanks for any input.

the best way to do it is to have a donor vehical, the trans will bolt up, but if auto, you will need a converter, valvebody, and pcm, the swap will be no issue, but with out a donor vehical, there are a lot of little things needed to do the job right, that will nickle and dime you to death
