im pushing for a new truck (mine is getting beat and about to cost big $) i found this one and wanted to know if there is anything i should look for when i go check it out. any common issues with these truck? this truck will have a plow rig on it and pull trailers every so often. how do these tranny hold up? i want to do some power mods to it in time around 400 hp is my goal and 1000 torque.

not too often you have a chance for a 98 12v.... trans can be a bit of a pain sometimes, what i would do with it, is get a a minimum of a valve body and torque converter from gorend or suncoast.... other wist it should be a solid truck

 

I'm really pushing for it hard. event if i have to take out a small loan. im hoping to get 4k for mine.
