in another post i queried how to find out the total engine hours on the ram. my buddy from fort macmurrey mentioned the black milage/trip button on the instrument cluster. i used it today and it works like this, turn key fully on without starting the engine, press the black button for a full eight seconds, the full amount of hours show in the milage spot. i don't know if i was the only one who didn't know this, but i thought i would share anyway.

 

I didn't know about it before I bought the truck otherwise I'd have had the dealer take a photo of it for me. Luckily when I tried this at home it only had a little over 3000 hours. Which is **** all.
