Default Shock absorbers on my 2008 quad longbed

How often should you replace shock absorbers and steering stablizers? I have a 5th wheel trailer that I haul about twice a month for camping and more so in the spring and summer. What shocks would you guys recommend? I was thinking either Rancho, Bilstien, or Skyjacker.

Default my two cents

i have an '07 one dually, i carry a 4000# camper towing a jeep, i'm coming up to 80,000 km's. my tire guy and the dealership and any reading i have done say that is the time to change, i don't know about the steering but i'm going to change it also, i'm going with bilstein's.
