I have a 2006 3500 4x4 and was looking at putting on some new rubber. I was wondering if the 315/70/17 wills fit on my truck i do not have a leveling kit yet but am looking at one in the future. If these tires dont fit what size can i put on my truck, i also have the factory rims on the truck.

 

i run that size with factory rims and no lift and no problem

I have a 2001 3/4 ton and I have 315/75/r16 on there with no leveling kit and they fit but they rub. a lot.

I know the 2500's with 315's will rub at hard lock(the control arms),not bad at all.I ran them for 4 years without any issues.305's should not rub at all.
Also the lift will not help you,its all about the backspacing of the wheels.

they still hit the control arms at full lock with a 6" lift with stk. wheels and 315's
