Default possible tranny problems

When taking off from a stop with a low torque application, my tranny will shift up then back and then up again, it kind of hunts back and forth. If only does this once in a while and only at low speed and low torque. If I lay into the pedal there is now issue, same with at highway speed when passing, no problem. I mentioned this to a friend and he suggested to try changing out the throttle position sensor. Just wondering if any one has any other thought before I go ahead and do this. By the way my truck is an 07 crew cab with 131000 km's on it, no mods except for a leveling kit, but I don't know if the previous owner did anything or changed any shift points with a programmer.
