i bought a 83 D50 with a 4cly mitsubishi diesel in it dose any o=know any thing about these engines?

 

Yes, it is a mitsubishi built diesel. very reliable if maintained well. known to get over 500,000 miles. I have heard they make great fry burners but have not actually seen one in use. If I remember right they get close to 50 mpg also. The whole truck was built by mitsubishi and tagged as a dodge in a joint venture. The gas motors were purely junk.
