Default Newbie Question?

I have a 2000 2500 4x4 desiel and need to change the rear axle bearing. I have tried to fit a 2 1/2 socket over the nut but it is a little small. Is it a metric and what size do I need? thank you

Try a 2 9/16", you might need a special axle nut socket though.
