Default clutch

hey guys i finally picked up a new truck on Saturday and drove it home from pa and had no problems now yesterday and today it seems like the clutch is slipping in my top two gears when i get on the throttle after i shift and me and my dad were talking and we think it needs a new clutch what do you guys think it would be? does that sound like the problem?

i thought i would have had some kind of answer or something by now come on now guys i need to know if me and my dad are right it does sound like it is slipping in 5th and 6th after i shift and i start to pick up speed. so what do you guys think?

You're the one driving it... is the clutch slipping? If you floor it in 5th or 6th does the engine rev up without increasing vehicle speed?

yeah but if i back off and get back into it then it doesnt slip and today i called a couple of tranny shops around town and the one that had a good price told me the clutch they were going to use is a rhino clutch because of how much a stock one is. my question to you guys is has anyone ever herd of rhino clutches?

Nope, but it probably isn't any worse than OEM.

South Bend Clutch is where it's at if you're planning on upping the power at all.

i bought the truck with a edge juice with attitude and it has a 4 inch turbo back exhaust on it from silver line i dont plan on do anything else to it but the place that told me about that clutch was saying its a good one because i asked about it since i never herd of the company before

the truck is my daily driver and i will do some towing at some point but not alot and i did find a south bend clutch that would work for me but what i would like to know is does anyone know a good place to get them from that have good prices on them? the site i found where it was the cheapest i think was Thoroughbred diesel and their price was 412. so is there any other place out there to look at that has better prices?

hey guys i finally found a clutch its a south bend single disk clutch that is rated for 400 hp and 800 ftq the one place i called about it said that would be good for my truck since i have a juice with attitude and a 4 inch exhaust i just wanted to know what you guys think?

south bend is a good i would be going with a Kevlar or full ceramic. there are lots of good clutch companies out there Ram. Hans. look on jeggs or summit racing and order one can have it shipped full will the throw out bearing polit bearing alignment tool and all.

hey guys im about to order my clutch and i wanted to know if anyone has herd of pmt diesel? im sure its a good place its the cheapest place i can find the clutch i want and it has no shipping. so just let me know if any of you guys have herd of it? the sooner i get an answer the better i want to order it tonight.
