Default 05 cummins rough idle

i have a 95 cummins 12v with 133k on it (completely stock) i had a fuel leak from one of the low pressure lines out of the tank ( the pressure fitted stainless braided line that goes on the metal line from the fuel tank ) i replaced that line, and bled the fuel system. now when i start the truck it runs fine while in drive or neutral. once you put it in reverse or drive the idle becomes really rough. it surges and feels like its going to stall ( sometimes it does ). once i get off idle and get moving it runs fine except it shifts alot sooner ( automatic ). it seems to blow some white smoke at high revs. im changing the fuel filter tomorrow and running some fuel cleaner and checking for any leaks. the #1 injector (furthest from firewall) seemed to have lower pressure than the rest when i was bleeding them. any other ideas? it runs fine pulling a load just shifts fast and rough idle.

thanks for all your help

95 not 05 typo in the title sorry

Default

changed the filter, broke open the injectors at the pump and the idle fell. ruling out bad injector or injection pump. checked the fuel line all the way to the tank, no visible leaks. sprayed it with starting fluid no change

anyone?
