How to clean the EGE cooler

Can I clean the EGR cooler? If so, can someone give me run down on how? I have all the info on cleaning the EGR valve and CCV filter and resetting the EVIC. I have a 2007, 3500, Diesel 6.7. Thanks

Suggestion

If it is not resetting, and you have changed the ccv filter, drive it around the block and try to reset sequence again. Worked for me.
