how much horsepower did the 2nd gen diesels put out?

Maybe more accurately you're looking for the amount of torque they put out. If I had a diesel I would get it for the torque because I pull a lot of ****. In diesels I dont think the hp really matters, it's the torque output, unless you're like some people I know and rag them out constantly.
