Unhappy Tire Wear on a 3500 4x4 Dually

I just came back from the Dodge dealership on another car and I asked the service advisors about the excessive tire wear on a 2006 3500 dually and they said that if the tire is an aggresive tread, feathering can show up in as few as 3000 miles. Does this sound true? I think toe in might need adjusting, but since it was done when the tires were new 3000 miles ago, I would not think this was a problem. Is the 3500 dually known to have this type of a tire problem? Especially with aggressive tires?

Thanks for your comments.

It is quite common on different makes/models of tires. Definitely should have your alignment checked though.

Yes, the toe was off about 3 degrees on both sides. It seem it would accelerate the wear.
I was told on the 3500 they can only really adjust toe, not camber or caster. Is that true?

Thanks for the reply " we...unforgiven". Looks like you have a really nice ride. Mine is an 06 though. Looking forward to picking it up next week.
