hey guys, got my eye on a 2003 2500 cummins with 135000 miles, from the pics looks good but still gotta go and check it out. is there anything i shouold look for. I would really like a truck that i will have for a long time is 135000 to much i know diesels last long. price is 14995 thanks

 

you leave out much needed info for an answer ie body style, box, trans type, 2wd,4wd etc.

Well. First off. Make him test drive it and see how he drives it. If he drives it like a gpa then it was probably most likely (not deffinetly) but probably broken in ok. Check the usual. Leaks trans fluid if applicable oil level. Check and see if the head is full of leaky oil. Cuz i know the valvecover gaskets leak sometimes. That mileage ask him if hes ever had to change the fuel pump or the injection pump. Ummm check for upgrades and wires hangin about. Anyother help from others would be good too. Lol. Air filter. And all normal stuff. My 96 barely had that many miles. Personally id say thats a bit much for that year. But thhats me. Let us know how it goes
