ok guys i have a 1993 w150 gas with a 5.2l 318. i am getting a 1991 w250 diesel it has a 3 speed tranny that is slipping. i was wondering if my 93 w150 tranny could be taken out of the 93 and put in the 91... so would the swap work or would i have to rebuilt the stock tranny on the cummins

The bellhousing isn't going to match, and the diesel will destroy the trans behind your 318. Rebuilding the Cummins 727 would be your safest bet.
