Default Ground connections at Block

Could any of you tell me where the main connection point for the ground end on the block on a 2000 CTD. This would be for the passanger side as well as the drivers side battery.

I have a problem with having only 8 volts showning and I cannot start my truck. Two new batteries with clean connections were installed today.

Thanks for any help you can supply.

just follow the cable from the negative post to the block. There is one on each battery and then one smaller cable on each battery that goes to the frame.

Have you considered getting your alternator checked?
