Default Engine Light?

Truck ran out of fuel when fuel line broke. Truck repaired, reset engine light, truck seemed to run fine, but engine light came on again. Truck seems to run well except when coasting, engine seems rough. Is it common to work out any air in the fuel line after such a repair?
Thanks,
JB

Its an 06. The mechanic said bring it back in to read the code. I am just trying to see if others that ran out of fuel had other engine lights come on. I hope it is just some air in the lines. I hope it is not an injector. I am sure it got soaked with fuel when the line blew.
