Default engine temp

hey guys its been a while well in the last couple of days i have noticed my truck running hotter then usual. to be honest it is bothering me because i never ran that high before it usually runs just under 190 no matter what speed im going. now lately it has been getting up over 200 and i have checked my fluid levels and everything is fine except for the temp getting high i think. so what i would like to know is what temp your guys trucks are getting up to with the 5.9 common rail? i am thinking about getting dual electric fans in the truck to help it and give me some more power. let me know what temp you guys are running at and what you think about dual fans? thanks guys

Look at the radiator and see if it dirty or caked up with anything. I know my truck runs 187 with my edge on 1 and then when I move up to 2 it goes up to 193-195

right now the edge is on 4 thats giving the best mileage right now and i do need to change the fuel filter just having done it yet. i have noticed that the air intake temp has been high lately to its been up over 100 i dont know if it is because of the warm weather or what. i do plan on changing the air intake just dont have the money for it right now. so will the fuel filter needing to be changed raise my engine temp?

If your fuel filter was that bad you would notice lower fuel psi

Mine sits at ~200 all the time, towing or empty and im all stock. Step up on the bumper and look down into the radiators, alot of debris can accumulate inbetween the intercooler and the radiator causing poor airflow, also make sure your A/C condensor isnt bugged up. Its probably just warmer air temp and your tune making it run a lil warmer than normal.
