At the dealer now. Pulled EGR off and it was basically clean. Very little soot. Pulled fuel filter. Still in good shape. Not looking promising at this point that we will find the issue. Still need to check DPF.

DPF was clean. Anyone out there with some thoughts? Did I mention I'm getting about 12mpg on a 2008 with 50,00 miles. When i haul my camper drops to 9mpg.

I am not crazy after all. Spent 6 hours at the dealer driving the truck after every little tweak. New turbo, new fuel filter, DPF clean and EGR clean. But still ran like crap. He disconnected the EGR wiring and it ran like a champ. Installed new EGR and it appears the problem is solved.

Even though it was not clogged, it was hanging up some how. So now it appears I have my old truck back. The true test comes wednesday when I pick up camper and haul it around. But so far all indications show a fix.

Thanks for all the help here on the forum. By the way, MPG went up immediately after installing new EGR. The funny thing is, I have to report back to dealer to confirm it is fixed because they have several trucks with similar issue they can't figure out what is wrong.
