Default Weird thing happened today

Got in my truck and ran up the road and made 2 stops then came back home and when i turned my truck off and took the key out i couldnt help but notice that the ticking noise from the injectors or w/e when the key is in the on position before starting was going and it wouldnt let me lock my truck. i got back in and turned the key to the on position then off and it was still going. so i started the engine and it turned right back off on its own after running for about 1 second, started it again and it was running fine and didnt have a check engine light, turned it off ticking stopped and i was able to lock it lol. anyone ever have or hear of this before?

once you have parked the truck, how long do you wait before you shut it off... try to let it idle for at least a minute before shutting down..

I usually shut it down pretty quick but its only done it the one time and i got some info from someone else that seemed like a pretty likely suspect. i was told that heavy keyrings could possibly mess with the cylinder and i just put on a thick metal dodge ram key chain onto the keyring a few weeks ago. since the symptoms were like the key was still in the ignition i took the keychain off and have not had it happen again.
