Default 2003 Ram not shifting into overdirve

We have an '03 Ram 3500 diesel turbo. It will not shift into overdirve nor down to first. Has low power and limps. We've replaced fuel filter, MAP sensor, transducer, and some solenoid, new fluids and still no better. Get codes p0633 and p0700. Any advice is appreciated. We cannot afford to repalce the transmission.

Welcome to DF!

P0633 SKIM Key Not Programmed in PCM

P0700 Transmission Control System (MIL Request)

Sounds like you might have an electrical problem. Might want to inspect all the connectors going to the trans. Clean, inspect, and coat in some di-electric grease.

Get a good scanner plugged into it ASAP and find out what your real codes are. P0700 is a MIL request code - the transmission control module has triggered that code to make the idiot light turn on so you know to check for trans codes. There's more to it.

Before you disconnect the batteries and clear codes, find out what's in the TCM. Then check all of your battery cables (both ends), load test your batteries individually, and check for grounds underneath.
