Default Doing my homework

I have a question that I am hoping someone can answer. I am looking at getting me a new truck and have been shopping around. I want to go back to the Diesel again and have not been around them for years. I have seen many adds for trucks ranging from 2003 to 2007. My question is I have seen some that have had the front ends rebuilt to eliminate the "Death Rattle". Can someone tell me what this is? Is there a problem with the front ends of all Dodge trucks? I test drove a 2006 Mega Cab, 5.9 with about a 4 inch lift and it did have a bit of a wobble in the front end at around 75. Is this a common problem?

Welcome to DF!!!

The "Death Wobble" can be resolved buy replacing the steering componants with an "updated 2008" design. There are other things you can do such as adding a steering stabilizer and dampener, but the updated design is probably the best.
