Default gauges which ones?

I tow regularly a 35' travel trailer with my '05 3500 ram CTD I'm thinking I would gauges installed but which ones?

Trans temp gauge for sure is one I want but do I need an EGT? Boost? Fuel rail pressure?

I don't want spend money gauges I don't need or understand.

I would get EGT, Trans Temp and low (before lift pump) fuel pressure. My truck runs 10# fuel pressure, I got the 30# gauge just to know when I need to change my fuel filters.
When I put gauges on my truck I got boost instead of trans temp, I wish I would have gotten trans temp but since I don't tow anything of size I feel I can get by without a trans temp gauge for now anyway. I did just get a real oil pressure gauge, going to put it on a single pillar pod, the others are in a 3 gauge windshield pod which I like very much. The windshield gauges are autometer factory match and the oil pressure is an old stewart warner mechanical gauge.

Egt, boost, trans temp, rail pressure, and if you want input fuel pressure.

Get a quad pod pillar mount. Can also do a column mount if you want all 5.

What you really need to monitor when towing is EGT and Trans temp.....
