Default Hey Guys, I really need some help

I'm normally on the 3rd gen tech pages, but I'm looking into the specs for a 3rd gen 3500,5.9cd, single rear wheel, versus a dually. My wife and I are planning on purchasing an Artic Fox truck camper perhaps next year, and I will be towing a 15ft aluminum fishing boat----minimal weight, but one of these loaded campers can weigh upwards of 4000 lbs plus. Can any of you points to where I might find the specs for one of these

Thanks much for any help

If you're going to be putting a 4k+ camper in, I'd go with the dually every single time. While the single rears can handle the load, the load raises your center of gravity significantly and the duals offer a wider platform, more stable AND if you have a blow-out you're less apt to have a really bad day.

Probably worth while to have a look at the payload sticker on a comparable truck if you live or drive where you can get a ticket for being over GVWR... dodges have low #'s to work with for what they're capable of handling. Definately DRW at a minimum and I don't even know if you'd get close to 4000 available on a 3500 DRW crew with passengers etc.
