2010 Cummins Question
I have a 2010 2500 Cummins and just recently I have started having problems with it.
First- on most start ups the truck will idle, however, when placed in to gear to start going the truck will only go to about 1500rpm ( floored) and will start bouncing back and forth in a jerking motion and will not move. And when it does this, there is a strong exhaust smell. My first conclusion would be something is wrong with this "emission" thing on the new 6.7L.... The check engine light only comes on 5% of the time. However, Im not sure how to pull the code; I'm sure a off/on so many times thing?!
Second- Every time I start the truck I hear a gear noise in the dash, grinding. Im sure its something to do with the evaporator/ A/C, but my question is, has anyone else had this problem and how expensive is it to fix?
I appreciate and info. I ve been out of all the auto stuff since since i bought this 2010 and told my wife I would leave this one STOCK after my '06 and 2 turbos and 3 trannies!
