Unhappy flashing dash lights at start up???

Hi All,

I started my 06 3500 the other day and I noticed the heated seats were flashing. they alternated between the two and then in about 5 seconds they stopped and went out.
While I was watching the lights, I quickly glanced at the amp meter and it seemed low, but quickly came up to above 12. Does this flashing light of some of the dash lights indicate some trouble? The lights went out, back to normal and have not had a problem. Wierd.

your volt gauge being low was just due to the grid heater cycling, and i would bet there is some sort of safty setup to turn off/dissable the the seat warmers in a low voltage situation, probably nothin but keep an eye on it, if its only doing it with the low voltage/grid heater cycle, there is nothin wrong, good luck
