My thoughts? Looks like:

I understand the tire life is much greater, as is the load capacity, however unless you're running a big lift and 40"+ tires, I think they look kind of silly.

Is that 22.5 inch tires on the 16 inch rim? You can't have 22.5 inch tires on 22.5 inch wheels unless they are rubber coated wheels and that would just be dumb.

Why would you need adapters to put smaller tires on?

Sorry Guys IMO that looks beyond stupid. But on the 22.5 Semi wheels he was talking about on his 2500 with enough lift to properly clear the smallest semi truck tires they look great and other than running over something and puncturing one. I can not see ever having to replace them.. Ride would be a lot stiffer though considering the tires where designed to hold 5 times what your truck weighs.

Personally it looks dumb all that tells me is the truck is a mall crawler. 18's on 33's or bigger, 20's on 35's or bigger and 22's on 37s or bigger. No smaller tire should ever be used.

They usually look pretty hickaboo, in my opinion.

As far as replacing them, how's the weather there? In FL, I thought briefly about putting 18.5's on my 08 Cummins, but decided against it when I started seeing a lot of passenger tires dry rotting after only 3 years. F that, what good is a tire that has good tread for ten years if the rubber is shot long before that?

Anyway, I think it's poser-ish.

I still think they are too big for our trucks. I've saw many of them done and with how small our trucks are they just look way too big. Unless you are running like 10in of lift and 40's Go with a nice 18 and call it a day. I dont mind my stock wheels if I ever upgrade I would prob go to 3rd gen wheels
