2008 3500 6.7 auto wont shift into overdrive
okay here is a problem no one can seem to resolve..
clear codes transmission will run fine for a day until diag has run...
then i will get little squares around ever gear on my dash and the truck wont shift normally...
had dealer flash the TCM because there was an update fixed it for a day same problem....
the codes that have come up are po700,po562,po890
today dealer replaced all 3 sendors on the transmission ran fine until i got home and all the little squares came back and same problem exists...
I have had the batteries tested dealer said they were fine... they cleaned the terminals and that all appears to be in good working order..
any ideas anyone..

P0700 is a companion code, basically it is the transmission telling the engine computer to turn the light on so you know to scan the transmission for codes. Get a good scanner on there and find out what transmission codes you have lurking.
And while Dodge said the batteries were good, did they disconnect the batteries and test them unhooked from the truck?
I rebuilt the 68rfe in my old 08 after liquifying the underdrive clutches, I'm a bit familiar with it although I was walked through it by a co-worker who was a Chrysler trans tech for ~30 years.
