Default Cooling fan replacement

So a blade broke off of my cooling fan the other day and destroyed my radiator. Sucks but I have a new radiator.

And none of the local auto parts stores have a new fan available. Through searches is seems as though I may be able to use a fan off of the Durango.

Anyone have any experience with this issue? And where I might be able to find a new one (besides a dealer).. I really don't want to hit the junk yard cause I don't want the same thing to happen ago. Radiator already cost me $200.

It's a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 Turbo Diesel

Thanks in advance!

Close to same trouble. Good luck. Did you get a fix? Why haven't you got a reply?

I just posted... 2006 Ram Mega cab 2500, 5.7 diesel, mileage now 196,742, fire red. I hit hole of water & broke radiator fan blade & wiring pulled away from a/c clutch. I tried a patch job. Good cool air while driving but when idles a/c puts out hot air. I want to change electric a/c fan clutch to thermal. I have changed elec a/c fan clutch 3 times, appears to be a bad design as my son has trouble also. He has 2004 Dodge 3500 diesel. Since I have to change radiator blade I thought a good time to change all. What blade is compatible to a thermal fan clutch? What kind of adapters do I need? Wiring changes?
