Default Wtf are you doing truck?!

2001 ram 2500 4wd 5spd.
driving down the road the other day my tach bottomed out. CEL lite up and i had no boost to climb the next hill. turned to my quadzilla and it still reads RPMs but the tach doesnt. then it does. then it doesnt. thruck threw 11 codes in that time. one person tells me crankshaft senser. the next camshaft senser. the next bad wire. the next ecm is shot. i cannot figure out what is the problem. i pulled both batteries from the truck turned the key on and let it sit for 3 days. today i put it all back together and it worked.. till 18 miles down the road the tach stopped. hasnt come back to life yet. now.. with the tach dead.. it wont start.. just cranks. the other thing that is making my swear alot is when i turn the key off when it is acting up.. my lift pump will stay running after the truck is turned off.. does the 20 second run. but when the tach is doing what its supposed too the truck starts and shuts down like its supposed too.
all this started about a week to two weeks after i had dodge flash my ECM so i could take advantage of the 3 cyclinder high idle. any thoughts from anyone would be great!
thanks!

I'd take it back and let them sort it out. If they bricked your ECM, they should be sharing in your pain.

Heh. Well if they had a problem while flashing your computer, there's a good chance they screwed it up.

that definitely sounds like computer issues...

as for unplugging batteries with key on...that does NOTHING.

I dunno where people got the idea that taking power from the computer is going to clear codes got their ideas from, but its completely false...

does your computer hard drive erase itself completely after a power outage? no....OBDII vehicles do not lose their memory when power is taken away. it is written permanently until either a key trick or code reader is plugged in and told to erase the codes.

if you want to clear your codes without a reader, cycle your key off-on 4 times leaving it on the 4th time. (without starting it) that will clear all codes....do the key trick on-off 3 times leaving it on the 3rd time to read the codes. (without starting it)
