no, my truck never came with emissions controls 
I just meant the inspector at the emissions place never commented or cared about the truck not having a muffler...he never even checked.
They only do snap tests here and check for opacity on the older diesels...
newer diesels like your are exempt from taking emissions all together in my state.
don't know how long that is going to last, but for now 2007 and newer are exempt regardless of weight, and vehicles with curb weight of under 6500lbs are exempt regardless of year. those bastards! my truck is 300lbs too heavy
