there is really no point in getting the elbow early. It will not add boost unless you have the fuel to spool the turbo past the stock gate setting, which you do not. (yet)

wait until you get the edge. edge comp comes with a boost elbow.

I was looking on cummins forum last night for a comp and found a couple. Any downside to buying a used one?

Yeah, the sleds are heavy. I pulled a few times and the sled we used weighed 44,000. My 08 did respectably well in the work stock class with just a programmer and deletes, but the guys running weights, ladder bars, bump stops, and dialed in hitch heights walked all over me.

used is always buy at own risk, but most people on cummins forum are decent.

I bought my injectors used from there, and I sold an airdog150 on there that I had as a spare and used for about an hour...it was one of the old school airdogs bought same week I bought mine (3-4 years ago), so it sold same day I put it up for sale because the old ones like mine with the JIC fittings were indestructible.

I guess I'm really glad I kept my airdog when I sold my 08 truck then...
