Default Used 07 2500 6.7 Cummins

I've found a used 07 2500 w/ 95K miles on the Internet. I've done some research about the problems w/ the emissions and the particulate filter on the 6.7.

My questions are:

Are these still existing issues or have they been fixed?

I'm going to pull a carfax on it, but at the age and mileage of this truck, would you think that this truck would either have a) gotten lucky and not had the issues or b) had them already resolved?

Any constructive input is appreciated.

An 07 would have had issues that have been addressed. Whether they were done right or even at all, I don't know. Should be a sticker on the core support by the radiator with the latest flash it got, which would tell you it's been in for service.

Also, look at the turbo for a plug; they drilled a whole to clean the vanes on the turbo. I don't have a pic handy.

07 and 08 were the worst, 09 was much better, 10+ are nearly trouble free

Thank you for the info. I'll definitely look for those items.
