Default 2008 2500.....?

Little run down.I had a 2007 5.9 a year ago and like a fool i traded it for a chevy, yes a chevy.Ok ok no need to beat a dead horse, trust me,i do it every day.

Well i have a chance to pick up a 2008 regular cab 6.7,standard tranny,4X4 with 35k on it.Im a little leery of the 6.7 and all the junk that comes on them.Question i have is what will it cost me to rid the EGR and DPF and what kind of a job is it.Ive seen a few videos on the process and im not sure if i have the time or want to do it.Some real world info would be appreciated on it.

I do pull a camper a little but it would mainly be a daily driver ,so im assuming the deletes would be needed.Looking for any info on this year.Should i turn and run or buy it.What are the costs to make it a reliable driver and best products to put on it for the deletes.

Thanx for any input, its much appreciated.

Your options for the deletes are getting slimmer - the EPA handed out about a million dollars in fines to Edge and H&S, iirc. You might still be able to go up to Canada and get an H&S programmer.

I loved my 08, but I'm not sure I'd buy another emissions truck.
