Oil usage 2013 Ram 2500

I have 408 miles on my new truck and checked the oil to find it a quart low, is this common for the breakin period?

This is my first Cummins and first new diesel.

I wouldn't sweat it. rings and seals need to seat themselves in...you may use a bit of oil till they do.
