Default Oil in exhaust system

Hi, does anyone have advice on how to clean up from a defective rebuilt turbo that spewed guessing a couple quarts of engine oil down the exhaust pipe. It's on a 2008 6.7. I'd like to just burn it off running down the highway but I suspect that may not be a good idea. What effect might this have on cat. conv. DPF, etc?

Thanks,
Pat

I would be hesitant to allow a "couple quarts" of oil to contaminate the emissions equipment as that could prove to be costly...

did you have a shop do the turbo work? if so it should be their responsibility to clean out the mess they caused...

else remove the exhaust and hose it out with brake clean...

I'd probably go find a tight twisty road somewhere and drive the **** out of it. Get the EGTs nice and high and let the DPF do what it does - burn off carbon.
