Default DW says MBRP too loud

I have '03 with 4" turbo back kit. DW says truck is too loud, especially when towing our travel trailer. Looking for quieter muffler to keep her happy.

The problem is drone in the cabin when climbing hills. Where I live has lots of hills so this is an issue. Think, "Happy wife, happy life"

Any suggestions for toning down the volume without replacing the whole exhaust?

compound twins

honestly twins do quiet down the exhaust quite a bit...and you can have a good power gain while improving EGT's while towing...win/win! not the cheapest option, but probably one you will like better...

you can do crazy carls twin plumbing kit, keep your stock charger and throw a S475 under it and do a smarty to get some good power with plenty of air to cool it down.

head studs and valve springs would be recommended as well.
