Default Blower and Power Windows not working - HELP

Last night my starter took a crap on me....I replaced the starter this morning but when I turnedthe ignition switch, I could hear a clicking noise in the fusebox under the hood but it wont turn over. The power windows and blower for the AC won't blow air either.

This has happened beore when I had problrms after my last starter went out, and the mechanic said he replaced a wire somewhere (i think near the starter?) and it started working again. Any ideas?

Check your under hood fuses. If those check out look for a fuseable link, thats probably what your mechanic was referring to. Starters are high amperage devices, triple check that you have a nice perfect connection on both sides of the power and ground wires. The blower and windows are probably also a fuse but i wouldnt worry about those until after you get the truck started again. If you dont have a repair manual drop what you're doing and get one. I buy mine but you might find a scanned one online somewhere

Thanks for the help. After replacing the starter, I jumped it over on itself and it worked perfectly. I then got one of those long box-shaped 30 amp fuses for under the hood and replaced the one for Ignition and that did the trick, everything is working as it should now.
