Default warning lights=better MPG???

I'm having a problem with my Bully Dog Power Pup and its causing my ABS, Air Bag, and Brake lights to stay on all the time. This is a problem, but the real question here is why I'm getting an extra 2-3MPG with these lights on. I assume the engine is de-fueling to prevent engine damage, much like gasoline engines over-fuel when the check engine light comes on and this is increasing the mileage (instead of lowering MPG in gas vehicles). ANyone got the real answer? Thanks.

yes, those lights on is a problem, however it is normal for any performance box on the low settings to give better mileage like what your seeing
